NOËL premiered at the National Opera House in Wexford, Ireland on December 19th 2016 for a week of semi staged performances in an orchestral setting. Internationally acclaimed as the "best small opera house in the world", the state-of-the-art building was opened in 2008  as a fitting home for the world famous Wexford Festival Opera, as well as being built as an all-year-round multi-disciplinary performance art-form theatre. 

 

The author, composer, and producer Michael Londra all have roots in Wexford town, so it is fitting that the space hosts the birth of this musical at the beginning of it's journey around the world.
